A nice depiction of the son of Odin. Its great to see that you have incorporated the iron gauntlets. There is so much to prove that the Norse legend makers were well aware of the power of electricity or known to them more as the astral fire than the electricity we know of today. He handles his powerful element only when he wears his protective gauntlets and his "girdle of strength" represents the closed circuit in which the energy coils itself instead of dispersing. His pole, his chariot of thunder pulled by rams are all indicative of this energy... sorry I just got excited:) nice work Emily.

I think the Norse people knew a lot of very interesting things about how the world works, and much of it is reflected in their pantheon. There is a goddess who acts as a sheild between earth and the sun to stop us being scorched by the suns light. Certainly a Goddess we should be working with in this time of global warming!
