Pure inspiration, this picture leapt into my head fully formed, and had to be translated onto canvas! An art trade with my friend Rebecca Carr, along the theme of triple Goddess. Cu Chullain meets the Morrigan en route to his final battle... Acrylics on canvas.

Wow. That's suberb. It's just so expressive. The brush stokes are loose on the landscape which make it all the more vivid and the contrast between the dark and the light is fab. Great Myth. Lucky you having a picture like that pop into your head. I bet it wouldn't leave you alone til you'd painted it.
